I haven't gotten new headshots taken in awhile, so it was about time I took some updated photos for my portfolio. Sometimes it can be hard to find a good, reliable photographer and make up artist for a non-commercial shoot, so what did I do to solve this problem? I did my own photo shoot in my backyard. I did my own hair and make up, and I had my fiance take my photos using a few new lenses I bought for my DSLR camera recently. Considering that neither of us are professional photographers, I would say that my photos turned out great. It just shows how a great camera, an eye for composition, and a little determination can go far.
